Visit to the German Ambassador in Abu Dhabi
On May 21, 2025, the management of Dubai Business Consulting (DBC) met with German Ambassador Alexander von Schönfelder in Abu Dhabi. The meeting focused on economic exchange, the deepening of diplomatic relations and the promotion of German-Emirati investment potential. The day began with a festive reception at the Emirates Palace, one of the most prestigious hotels in the United Arab Emirates. The delegation was welcomed with the German national anthem. A symbolic expression of the cultural ties between Germany and the UAE.
Afterwards, the hotel management hosted an exclusive lunch. The importance of hospitality as a strategic location factor was discussed at this event. The DBC management exchanged views with those responsible on the role of the hotel industry in attracting international companies and on investment strategies in the region.
The highlight of the day was the meeting with Ambassador Alexander von Schönborn at the German embassy. Central topics of German-Emirati economic relations were discussed in an open dialog. Particular attention was paid to the double taxation agreement, the legal framework for foreign direct investment and the role of the UAE as a global business location. The DBC contributed its many years of experience in supporting German-speaking entrepreneurs to the discussion and was able to provide practical impetus for the further development of bilateral relations.
